    On behalf of our client, a long-established IT software solutions provider in Nicosia, GRS are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join their Nicosia-based team. As a member of their team, the successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, developing, implementing, and supporting customized, as well as packaged, Information Technology solutions. If you are looking to join an expanding, experienced, progressive team of programmers/analysts and are always open to new ideas and concepts, GRS are looking forward to receiving your CV today for this Nicosia based Software Engineer role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement software solutions from given specifications.
  • Test validity and logic of existing systems and able to track errors.
  • Modify existing code and implement changes and amendments.
  • Convert project requirements to detailed procedures and logical flow charts.
  • Prepare support documentation for fellow programmers, system users and associated support services personnel.
  • Continue to seek opportunities for personal and professional development
  • Maintain good relationship with management and colleagues
    • CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University/College Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Good Knowledge in Relational Database Design and implementation using MS SQL Server or Oracle RDBMS or MySQL.
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English language is a must.
  • Ability to learn new programming languages and technologies.
  • Previous development experience will be considered an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Development Tools (Visual Studio, ASP, WPF and C#) is a plus.
  • ASP.NET development experience is a plus.
  • Xamarin/Mobile development experience is a plus.
  • Multitasking with good communication skills.
  • Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Efficient time management skills, ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Detail oriented and professional demeanor.
  • Positive energy and attitude.
