- Ensure the correct keeping of accounting books and mandatory records and the verification, control and filing of tax documents (Intrastat)
- Manage inter-company reconciliations
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis, following the management needs
- Manage Accounts Receivable activities, including Intercompany, intra UE, self-billing invoices & invoices raised to allow good shipments among extra UE countries
- High school graduate (a university degree in economics will be considered a plus)
- Accountant with a former experience at least in a similar role; any experience in supporting retail / luxury retail business within a finance function would be a plus
- Knowledgeable about principles that govern the general and fiscal accounting of a company and of national and international accounting standards (IFRS)
- Proactive detail-oriented person, with analytical approach, able to regularly meet challenging deadlines and handle a high volume of tasks
- Effective and positive team player with excellent communication skills and agile, collaborative and inclusive approach; able to work with a high level of autonomy, when needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel especially (working knowledge of AS400, JD Edwards and/or SAP will be a plus)
- Fluent in Italian, with a good knowledge of English
