About the Role:
As a member of the Engineering and R&D team, as one of five Application Engineers, and reporting to the Application Engineer Leader, you will play a vital role in developing new applications and pioneering technical solutions, collaborating with the technical, sales, and after-sales teams.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conducting technical feasibility studies to define suitable technical-commercial solutions for sales
- Creating comprehensive product layouts and flowcharts
- Generating quotes for complete lines or individual items for specific machines
- Evaluating customer requirements specifications
- Reviewing technical proposals from parts suppliers and suggesting alternate suppliers
- Delivering technical presentations to support sales negotiations and developing technical specifications for machinery or automated distribution systems
This position is based in Bologna, Italy.
Key Requirements for Success:
- Minimum of 10 years experience in automatic machinery for primary or secondary packaging
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field
- Proficient in mechanical drawings and CAD software
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Strong English language skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent communication abilities to foster effective working relationships
- Ability to adapt and prioritize tasks efficiently.
