We are looking for an Accountant who will be responsible for the strategy and the negotiation with suppliers and vendors in order to acquire the most cost-effective deals and to reduce procurement expenses.

He/ She will lead the purchasing process from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization, as well as provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes.

Main Activities

Bookings of AP and AR
Bookings of bank/credit card transactions
Support in preparing and booking accruals, prepayments and deferred revenue
Fixed Asset bookings and creations in Fixed asset Module
Reconciliation
Process purchase orders to acquire goods
Support in Stat Books closing and auditors requests
Support in R&D tax claim preparation
Support in AP cycle management

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, (Master's degree preferred).
Relevant experience in accounting and in VAT/WTHD requirements
Team player to collaborate with finance colleagues as well as business units, functional partners (like IT, HR, legal ) and external stakeholders (tax consultants, auditors etc.)
Knowledege of IFRS would be a plus
