The role
Sappiamo che stai costruendo il tuo futuro e, in DLA Piper, la nostra cultura inclusiva e solidale fa sì che la crescita personale vada di pari passo con lo sviluppo professionale.
Il nostro Programma di Internship dura 6 mesi e ti consente di svolgere la pratica forense per l'accesso agli esami di Stato di abilitazione alla professione di avvocato e di dottore commercialista. Successivamente al periodo di Internship di 6 mesi, in base alla disponibilità del dipartimento e valutazione della tua performance, avrai anche la possibilità di continuare il tuo percorso professionale in DLA Piper come Trainee.
Il nostro Programma di Internship prevede una sessione introduttiva dedicata che ti permetterà di acquisire una conoscenza più approfondita del settore legale e dello Studio. Ci sarà inoltre l'opportunità di ascoltare le esperienze sia dei nostri professionisti più senior che dei nostri Trainee. Durante il Programma avrai compiti e responsabilità concreti, imparando attraverso la pratica e l'osservazione, per fornire un servizio di elevata qualità al Cliente, in qualsiasi parte del mondo essi si trovino. Nello svolgere le attività ci sarà la possibilità di acquisire una visione di insieme e un bagaglio di esperienze fondamentali per costruire una brillante carriera e il tuo network.
Avrai una rete di supporto anche tramite il nostro sistema di buddy-mentor, che ti consentirà di orientarti e integrarti nel nostro network globale e ti farà da guida nel tuo percorso di crescita.
Per supportare ulteriormente la tua crescita, avrai a disposizione un piano di apprendimento attraverso la nostra DLA Piper Academy, che ti offrirà corsi strutturati per sviluppare le tue competenze tecniche e relazionali.
Durante il Programma di Internship sarai invitato a svolgere attività in ambito pro bono; non soltanto perché riteniamo sia la cosa giusta da fare, ma anche perché questo tipo di attività contribuisce a sviluppare le tue capacità in termini di leadership, lavoro in team e comunicazione.
A seconda della disponibilità, delle tue preferenze e dell'esito del processo di selezione, potrai entrare a far parte di uno dei nostri practice group a Roma o a Milano. Sarai coinvolto in un'ampia varietà di questioni legali e fiscali e lavorerai con colleghi di altre sedi, sia in Italia che all'estero.

Anche se non strettamente necessario, per ragioni di uniformità con la nostra strategia a livello globale, preferiremmo ricevere le candidature in lingua inglese.
Ti sarà anche chiesto di caricare una copia del tuo CV e un estratto dei voti degli esami universitari sostenuti.
Il CV dovrà dare risalto ai traguardi raggiunti e alle tue esperienze. Non è necessario includere una lettera di presentazione.

Assessment online e colloqui di valutazione
Se la tua candidatura verrà valutata positivamente verrai invitato a completare alcuni test standard online volti ad appurare le tue competenze riguardo alla conoscenza della lingua inglese e le tue capacità di ragionamento e analisi.
A seguito dei test, potremmo invitarti a partecipare ai colloqui di valutazione.
Sappiamo che ciascun individuo ha diversi punti di forza ed eventuali aree di miglioramento. Non è necessaria alcuna preparazione per la partecipazione agli assessment e al colloquio di valutazione.
Requisiti accademici
Consideriamo candidature da parte di neolaureati e di studenti dell'ultimo anno in corso di giurisprudenza o economia, con un percorso accademico eccellente e un'ottima conoscenza della lingua inglese.
Puoi candidarti per il Programma di Internship se sei uno studente dell'ultimo anno di corso, a condizione che non intercorrano più di 6 mesi tra la data di laurea e la data di inizio dell'Internship.

Internship Programme DLA Piper Italy
DLA Piper understands that you're building a future. Which is why we want to support you to reach your full potential, and to explore opportunities that shape your individual career journey. At DLA Piper, our supportive culture means that personal growth goes hand in hand with professional development.
Our internship programme spans 6 months and will support your registration for the mandatory traineeship to qualify for the bar exam (pratica forense), or for the chartered accountant exam. As well as this, it will provide you with the insight and experience needed to forge a long-term successful career.
At the end of the 6 months Internship, you will have the option to be assessed for a place as a trainee with us.
Our Internship Programme starts with a bespoke induction that provides an advanced introduction to the legal sector and our firm. It is also designed to build your professional skills and behaviours, as well as your comfort working within a corporate environment. Throughout the induction there will be opportunities to hear from, and network with, senior members of the firm and our current trainees.
During your Internship you will be given real responsibilities, supporting our clients wherever they operate around the world. You will have the chance to learn through practical work and observation in a truly global firm, giving you an outstanding breadth of legal knowledge, as well as the practical skills that will stay with you for your entire career.
With our buddy-mentor system, you will have the support network to find your feet within our global network and guide you throughout your career.
Your practical experience will see you work alongside people at all levels of the business. Learning through practice and observation, you'll discover first-hand how to deliver legal advice to our high standards.
To further support this, you will have a development plan, delivered via our DLA Piper Academy, providing structured training that will help you to develop your technical competence, behaviours and skills.
During your internship, you'll also be encouraged to do pro bono and community work; not only because it's the right thing to do, but because it will develop your skills in leadership, teamwork and communication.
Depending on availability, your preference and the outcome of the selection process, you will be assigned to one of our practice groups in Rome or Milan. You will work with colleagues across Italy and our International offices, meaning that you will be involved in a broad range of legal and tax matters.
We offer two internship periods of 6 months each:

To apply, you will be required to complete an application form which should include your preference regarding our practice groups and offices. (Please note that while we try to accommodate individuals preferences, there maybe times when this is not possible).
You will also be asked to include your academic average and your actual or expected graduation date and marks.
Although not essential, our preference is that applications are completed in English, in line with our internal global standards and strategy.
Additionally, you'll be required to submit a copy of your CV and your graduate academic transcripts.
Your CV should showcase your achievements and experiences. We don't require you to submit a cover letter as part of your application.
Internship applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so you are encouraged to apply ahead of the application deadline.
Online assessment and assessment day
Should your application be successful you will be invited to complete a few standard online tests that explore your language capabilities, as well as your reasoning and analytical skills.
Following these tests, we may ask you to attend an assessment day. This day gives you the opportunity to visit our offices (circumstances allowing) and meet key members of our firm.
You will take part in different tasks designed to give you the best opportunity to showcase your skills and personality. These includes a strengths-based interview, document analysis, a presentation and a group exercise. We feel that it is important to assess over a number of different tasks, as we recognise that everyone has different strengths and development areas. There is no preparation required before you attend the assessment day.
Academic requirements
We welcome applications from graduate and last year students in law or economics, with strong academic records and an excellent knowledge of the English language. You can apply for the programme if you are a last year student in law or economics, provided that no more than 6 months has passed between your graduation and your internship start date.
