    We have an opportunity for a Global Media Relations Manager to join our Global Communications Team.

    Purpose

    We have an opportunity for a Global Relations Manager Within the Global Communication department, the Global Media Relations Manager ensures the excellent name and reputation of Angelini Pharma is maintained amongst key stakeholders and citizens at glance at global and European level. This is achieved by disseminating correct information both at corporate and business level and diminishing the impact of unfortunate or untruthful news related to the organization. The Global Media Relations Manager cultivates and manages relationships with media to serve the purpose, the vision and the mission of Angelini Pharma and contributes to support the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team in their relationship with the media. The Global Media Relations Manager also coordinates the media relations in the Countries where Angelini Pharma operates, together with local Communication and the International Communication function.

    Areas of responsibility:

  • Ensures the excellent name and reputation of Angelini Pharma is maintained both at corporate and business level:
    • Developing written materials including press releases, Q&A, opinion editorial, media standby statements, factsheets on brand and corporate issues as required.
    • Building relationships with key media contacts at global and European level, especially in the Pharma sector.
    • Identifying opportunities to proactively pitch brand and corporate stories through media outlets as appropriate through press conference as well.
  • Manages the crisis communication:
    • Updating the media crisis management plan and playbook.
    • Assisting in the development and implementation of the crisis management plan as far as media are concerned.
    • Developing written materials, such as issue statement, Q&A, briefing for leaders/managers in relations to the communication towards media.
    • Managing the relationships with key media contacts to drive the correct information.
  • Supports scientific communication:
    • Developing written materials including press releases, Q&A and factsheets related to news products, business partnerships, new indications, approval processes steps.
    • Identifying opportunities to proactively pitch brand stories through media outlets and social media as well, in collaboration with the owned media function.
    • Organizing media presence at the main congresses, as well as other scientific events when appropriate.
    • Connecting with medical, regulatory and access function to know possible studies to be communicated.
  • Executive communication:
    • Providing and supporting the diffusion of the global guidelines on relationships with media
    • Organizing media training and ad hoc briefing
    • Supporting the writing of opinion editorial, articles, interviews.

    • Skills required

  • 8-10 years of experience in global media relations.
  • High level of knowledge of pharma media at European level.
  • 8-10 years of proven experience in crisis management.
  • Native English.
  • Attitude to the teamwork.

    • We offer a permanent contract.
