- Reviewing vendor proposals to ensure that they are complete and accurate per existing procedures
- Preparing purchase orders for goods or services being purchased by the company
- Communicating with vendors regarding order status, payment issues, delivery schedules, problems with shipping or quality of goods, etc.
- Coordinating with other departments within the organization regarding the status of orders, including department heads, shipping companies, customer service representatives, and accounting staff
- Keeping records of all transactions related to purchasing activities, including invoice numbers, dates of purchase, items purchased, prices paid, and terms of sale
- Supporting the plant in managing the Snow task management respecting the current procedure
- Matching purchase orders with invoices and other documentation to ensure that all purchases have been recorded correctly
- Supporting the Plant Buyer optimizing the current process flows and procedures
- Supporting the Plant Buyer developing a management system in order to simplify the validation vendor documentation gathering
- Master's degree in economics or management with a focus on Business Administration
- Language : proficiency knowledge of English
- Communication: He/She may be required to communicate with suppliers, managers and other procurement representatives. Effective communication can help to convey information clearly and answer questions.
- Organization: He/She may be responsible for managing multiple projects at once. Organization skills can help to keep track of all the information you need to complete assigned tasks.
- Attention to detail: He/She must be able to notice mistakes and inconsistencies in data and information to ensure that the company is receiving the correct products and services.
- Problem-solving: He/She may be responsible for finding solutions to problems that arise during the procurement process. This could involve finding a new supplier or finding a way to work around potential delivery delays.
- Negotiation: He/She may be responsible for negotiating with other departments to ensure that the company is receiving the correct items and in the correct quantities considering the right specs.
