Electrical Instrumentation - DECM - Project Engineer - Senior

The candidate will be responsible for external packages, internal designed products electrical, automation and instrumentation design of the Direct Reduction Plant and related coordination with sister company, other company departments and partners.
Design is performed according to the required European or non-European standards and regulation. Candidate will support commercial department, project management and site team during project execution. Candidate will develop technical specifications to purchase external packages and/or sub-contract external technical offices.Candidate will also be involved in meetings with customers and coordination of internal and external resources in order to respect the contractual targets related to plant design, supply, erection and commissioning up to hand-over to customer.

Responsibilities
Support commercial department in reviewing customers tenders / technical specifications and attend technical meetings with customers during commercial stage;
Develop Electrical, Automation, Instrumentation portion of technical specifications for the purchase of external packages e.g. fired heaters, CO2 absorption plants, Gas Compressors etc.;
Follow-up external packages suppliers during project stage, check technical documentation content, quality and timely delivery;
Coordination of sister companies, departments, partners responsible of e.g. plant electrical power distribution, main automation system, installation engineering, auxiliary electrical systems etc. with continuous cooperation and data interchange meetings arrangements;
Follow-up timely delivery of technical documentation from sister companies, departments, partners to respect project contractual timeframe;
Attend & manage coordination meetings with customers;
Support site team during erection and commissioning project execution phase;
Develop technical specifications to sub-contract the development of detail design Electrical, Automation, Instrumentation of internal designed products e.g. process equipment, conveyors, etc.;
Follow-up external technical offices during design stage, check technical documentation quality and timely delivery;
Multiple worldwide projects follow-up.
Technical Requirements
Electrical / Electronic Engineering Bachelor's Degree;
Previous experience (5 years) in a similar activity – project management, developing of technical specification, suppliers follow-up, projects follow-up
Soft Skills
Experience gained in Oil&Gas / Petrochemical / Power / Steel plants industrial field or similar (process plants);
Knowledge of main international standards IEC – UL/CSA – GOST/PUE
Knowledge of Siemens PLC and DCS based automation systems;
Knowledge of industrial plants power distribution systems;
Knowledge of industrial plants technological and auxiliary electrical systems/panels e.g. motor starters, converters (medium and low voltage), lighting, HVAC, Fire fighting etc.;
Knowledge of explosive atmospheres standards (ATEX, NEC);
Knowledge of functional and process safety concepts and related implications on electrical, automation and instrumentation discipline;
Proactivity, methodicalness, accuracy in approaching the problem and result orientation;
Aptitude for technical and functional study;
Good interpersonal skills and aptitude for team work in particular in a multi-cultural environment;
Basic knowledge of Autocad. Professional knowledge of the Office package;
Knowledge of design softwares e.g. EPLAN considered as a plus.
