    If you are passionate about moving towards a low-carbon future, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are currently looking for a Senior Package Engineer to join our Equipment Engineering Division team in Rome, Italy.

    About the Job

    As a Senior Package Engineer, you will be working within the Package Units Section, focusing on multidisciplinary units essential for overall system functionality. Your responsibilities will include managing Package Units on various project phases such as Proposals, FEED, and EPC Projects.

    Key interactions for this role involve internal collaboration with Project teams, Procurement, Construction departments, and other engineering disciplines, as well as external engagement with Clients, Vendors, and Suppliers.

    Your role will involve:

    • Ensuring timely and high-quality preparation of project technical specifications in coordination with other disciplines
    • Preparing material requisitions for inquiries and purchases
    • Conducting technical analyses of received bids
    • Managing detailed engineering phases and providing technical follow-up on orders while communicating effectively with vendors
    • Adhering to project commitments in terms of man-hours and budget
    • Reporting promptly on engineering/requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer
    • Meeting project quality and HSE objectives
    • Interfacing with other discipline engineers and project support functions for successful project delivery

    You will have opportunities for business trips, attending technical meetings with Clients or Suppliers, visiting Vendor workshops, and collaborating with colleagues worldwide. At times, you may also be involved in on-site engineering activities supporting erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up tasks.

    About You

    We are interested in hearing from candidates who meet the following essential requirements:

    Qualifications: Master's degree in Mechanical/Energy Engineering

    Languages: Fluent in English

    Main Skills:

    • Team player with the ability to work effectively in an international and multi-cultural environment
    • Capable of completing tasks punctually with the required Company quality standards
    • Open-minded towards new energy sources and digital solutions
    • Willingness for international mobility for short or long-term assignments
    • Knowledge of new energy sources, renewables, green/blue hydrogen technologies, and familiarity with digital tools and solutions are advantageous
    • 2 to 5 years of prior experience in a similar role
