- provide expert legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal matters, including but not limited to contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, employment law and dispute resolution;
- represent the organization to minimize legal, compliance and regulatory risk by resolving issues and ensuring adherence to business and legal standards;
- draft, review and approve policies, procedures, contracts and related documents for business operations;
- conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
- develop, implement and provide reporting on a variety of legal, compliance, regulatory and contractual matters;
- stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization and provide proactive advice and recommendations.
- Master's Degree in Law;
- At least 5 years' of relevant experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department;
- Previous international working experience in a similar role would be considered a plus, especially if related to the Eastern Mediterranean region;
- Experience in handling international sanctions screening would be considered a plus;
- Strong knowledge of Insurance-specific laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and review.
- Commercially focused, culturally sensitive with excellent communication skills and business acumen
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal skills in Italian and English; knowledge of either Arabic, Turkish or Hebrew would be considered a plus.
