    With over 200 employees, De Eekhoorn Dutch Furniture and Basiclabel has specialised in developing, producing and distributing interior products for hardware stores, department stores, furniture specialty shops and online retailers in Europe for over 40 years.

    More than 30% of our collection is produced in our own factory in Zwaagdijk-Oost and to realise further growth, we have built a new head office with distribution centre and showroom along the highway in Hoorn.

    We have an internship position available starting September 2024 for an HBO student. This is an internship in the E-commerce Support department.

    Here, you work closely with the Marketplace Specialist and are responsible for the correct running of the daily processes in our cooperation with various national and international marketplaces such as You are responsible for launching and optimising our products on these different online channels.

    You also monitor the order stream of the marketplaces and make adjustments where necessary. You think proactively about how we can improve all processes surrounding these fast-growing sales channels.

    You work accurately, keep an overview and know how to set the right priorities without losing sight of the interests of the organisation and the customer.


    Core activities:
    Activation & optimisation of product information and content.
    Support in connecting new marketplaces.
    Documentation and optimisation of processes for sales via marketplaces. De Eekhoornhas several departments. The e-commerce department works closely with marketplaces and sales, among others. The e-commerce team consists of Vinny, Milan K, Milan J, Yannick and Emiel. They will guide you and show you around in the world of e-commerce.
