Campari IT department - Campari OneIT - is at a key development stage moving from a back-office function to pivot into a business partnering function, leading the technology agenda across the business with the objective to drive our business growth for the years to come. This represents an extremely exciting time to join Campari IT and Campari Group.


Campari IT is organized around Global & Regional/Local layers, the Enterprise Architecture & Technology team, the global IT Governance & Portfolio team, the Global Service Delivery Team and five Center of Expertise (CoE) - Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance & HR & Legal, Business Development, Enterprise Analytics and Data Science, IT security.


The IT competency centers (CoE-Center of Expertise) are accountable for the development of an IT strategy for their functional area aligned to the overall Campari business objectives and requirements for business capabilities.


The Global IT PMO Lead is part of the
Campari Global IT Governance & Portfolio team, which aims to help accelerate the Digital transformation to meet strategic goals through the definition and governance of standards, roadmaps and management of IT operating model, IT portfolio and IT Vendor landscape enabling alignment between evolving strategy and performance.


GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE
The Global IT PMO Lead is responsible for leading and managing
the IT Project Management Office (PMO).

The primary mission is to ensure that the IT projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.


S/he will be also responsible for management of the
IT portfolio, ensuring the best usage of company resources (internal capacity and budget), enabling continuous alignment to company evolving strategy
.


S/he will support the organization in clear decision making /project prioritization, to ensure alignment to strategic objectives, whilst ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery through the governance of projects, processes and solutions,

minimizing risk, ensuring that the portfolio is agile and adaptable to changing business needs


This role is also responsible for leading and coordinating activities and deliverables for Campari Transformation Programs from an IT standpoint.

This requires ensuring project objectives are accomplished and aligned with business goals and priorities; managing the other IT PMs and related project teams to include interactions with various internal departments as well as external vendors and customers.


Key Responsibilities and Activities

  • Set up and lead PM hub team / community, made of internal and External PMs, ensuring the team is delivering the expected value for the organization
  • Develop and maintain IT project management methodologies, tools, and templates, liaising with Global IT Governance manager.
  • Lead and manage the IT project portfolio to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Ensure an always up to date picture of IT Project Portfolio is always available to all the stakeholders (internal and external)

The view includes also:

  • Financials (cash and the P&L view).
  • Internal Resource&capacity planning
  • Benefits plan and realization
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including the IT management team.
  • Ensure that project managers are adhering to the established project management methodologies, tools, and templates.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to project managers to develop their project management skills and competencies.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize project management processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage the IT PMO budget and resources to ensure that they are utilized effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to improve the understanding and adoption of project management best practices across the organization.
