Stando ai dati del CyberSecurity 360 Summit, nel secondo semestre del 2018, in Italia, ci sono stati 730 attacchi informatici catalogabili come gravi – e quindi in grado di mettere in ginocchio un'impresa – segnando così un aumento di oltre il 30% rispetto alla rilevazione precedente. Di fronte a queste minacce crescenti, le aziende italiane – guardando ai numeri dell'Osservatorio Cyber Security e Privacy del Politecnico di Milano – hanno investito 1,19 miliardi di euro nel 2018 proprio per adeguare le proprie difese virtuali, con un +9% rispetto al 2017. A pesare su queste cifre, però, sono soprattutto le spese relative all'adeguamento dei sistemi aziendali al GDPR, e in particolare gli investimenti fatti dalle più grandi agenzie. É invece piuttosto contenuto l'investimento delle PMI: solo il 18% di queste, infatti, avrebbe raggiunto un livello soddisfacente di cyber security. Per potersi dire al sicuro, del resto, non bastano gli strumenti. Servono anche le giuste competenze, e quindi i giusti talenti, come ben sanno gli head hunter specializzati nella selezione di personale per il settore Information and Communication Technology. L'esperto in cyber security al centro della selezione di personale per il settore Information and Communication TechnologyC'è un professionista che sta ormai costantemente al centro dell'attenzione dei consulenti per la selezione di personale ITC. Parliamo ovviamente dell' esperto in cyber security , il quale, di fronte all'aumento delle minacce, è sempre più ricercato dalle aziende. Ed è proprio di fronte a questo dato che si intravede un certo paradosso nelle PMI italiane: il professionista della cyber security è molto ricercato ma, lì dove presente, rischia spesso di essere isolato e in parte inascoltato. I numeri dell'Osservatorio Cyber Security e Privacy ci dicono infatti che il 59% dei responsabili per la sicurezza digitale inquadra la sfida principale non tanto nell'individuare e nel debellare le minacce informatiche, quanto invece nel farsi ascoltare internamente. Questo dato, già di per sé allarmante, arriva al 69% se si prendono in considerazione le sole aziende italiane. Eppure le agenzie della selezione di personale per il settore Information and Communication Technology continuano a lavorare alacremente per soddisfare la richiesta di professionisti del settore, scandagliando il mercato per individuare Security Administrator, Cyber Risk Manager, Ethical Hacker e, per l'appunto, Cyber security Manager. Tutto questo mentre le aziende faticano non poco per trovare le competenze giuste, per via di un sempre più evidente disallineamento tra domanda e offerta, soprattutto per quanto riguarda il mondo della selezione di personale per il settore Information and Communication Technology nella sua accezione più ampia. Qui la difficoltà di reperimento arriva in certi casi ben oltre il 60%.Quali sono, dunque, le soluzioni per le aziende alla ricerca di esperti in cyber security, in grado di mettere al sicuro la rete aziendale? In primo luogo, per mettere le mani sui migliori talenti, è necessario rivolgersi a delle agenzie per la ricerca e la selezione di personale informatico, di modo da anticipare i concorrenti. In secondo luogo, è obbligatorio puntare sulla formazione interna, in un settore – quello ICT – in cui il bagaglio di conoscenza acquisto durante gli studi rischia di essere obsoleto già al momento delle laurea.
