The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Genoa, Italy.Who We Are Hitachi Rail is a fully integrated, global provider of rail solutions across rolling stock, signaling, service & maintenance, digital technology and turnkey.

AccountabilitiesHelp desk activities for remote and centralized Maintenance activitiesGuarantee corrective and preventive maintenance task starting, performance and closing including associated logistics and spares activitiesMonitoring and analysis of Reliability & Maintainability figures and operational performance of in- service equipment support trouble shooting and fault founding activitiesUpdating and maintaining "as maintained" SW & HW ConfigurationReporting activities Required Skills/KnowledgeBachelor's Degree in technical area or equivalent technical backgroundFrom 0 up to 3 years Experience in maintenance activities or equivalent Testing & Fault findingIncident/accident investigation Knowledge of technologiesMaintenance Railway Safety Rules & RegulationsStatistical analysis and "data management"Use of maintenance tools knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems; knowledge HW infrastructures (Server, Storage and Blade); knowledge of virtualized environments; knowledge of network infrastructures; knowledge of the English language; troubleshooting ability.
